Short Course on DEEP LEARNING and CFD (2 weeks)
The Biomedical Engineering (BME) Department of MIST proudly organized a two-week short course during semester break on Deep Learning and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), designed to provide 50 participants with a comprehensive understanding of these cutting-edge technologies. This intensive course offered a blend of theoretical knowledge and hands-on training, focusing on applications of deep learning and the fundamentals of CFD in simulating fluid flow in various systems. Expert faculty members conducted engaging lectures and interactive sessions to ensure a practical learning experience where participants gained valuable insights into applications of CFD in modeling and overall real-world problem-solving using tools like Python for deep learning and CFD simulations.
The course concluded with a certification ceremony, where participants and faculties were awarded certificates upon successful completion in the presence of the head of the department, recognizing their dedication and achievement in mastering these advanced topics. This initiative, under the sincere guidance of the respected Commandant of MIST, highlights the BME Department’s commitment to fostering knowledge and skill development in emerging interdisciplinary fields.
